Teufel new successors to their Ultima stereo series
The Berlin audio specialists Teufel Audio present the new improved versions of two of their best-selling sets: the Ultima 20 Mk2 and Ultima 40 Mk2. The Ultima 20 Mk2 and Ultima 40 Mk2 are now immediately available in the Berlin audio manufacturer‘s online shop. Both have been extensively updated and improved to create a simply outstanding product; necessary, as the heritage of this system sets the bar high – the original Ultima 40 was the top-selling stand speaker in Germany in 2011! A new, even higher quality tweeter, unified fabric membranes on the deep and midrange drivers as well as klippel-optimised drivers create a much more linear frequency response. The new tweeter’s Waveguide technology improves the omnidirectional sound and the bass range is now audibly deeper than before, thanks to the new trumpet shaped bass reflex tubes and reinforced housing – no air noise or vibrations here!
Visually, the new Ultima series is improved with a remote baffle, a unified housing colour scheme and faceplates with a stand base (Ultima 40 Mk2 only).
