Windows Phone YouTube app
Google has finally released a fully featured YouTube app for Windows Phone.
The official app offers users full access to their YouTube account, where they can see their uploads, playlists, browse channels you subscribe to and also pin playlists, videos and channels to the home screen as Live Tiles.
You can also link the app in with the Kids Corner function and restrict the available videos through the app.
OUYA release date update
OUYA game console has pushed its release date back to June 25th to allow it to meet demand.
The console had been set for a June the 4th release, but the company has now pushed that back to June 25th to meet demand
Ouya has also just received another $15 million in new investment. So all in all, it’s show that there is a lot of demand for the new console and I for one cannot wait to get my hands on one.
Samsung Galaxy Core
Samsung has released a new low-end smartphone in the Galaxy range called: Galaxy Core.
The Galaxy Core features 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 64GB using a microSD card. The screen size is a 4.3-inch, 480 x 800 resolution display and It runs on Android 4.1 (AKA Jelly Bean), with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.
There is also a 5-megapixel camera with an LED flash, which can record video up to 480p and also had a VGA front facing camera.
Samsung has also included dual-SIM support on one version of the device, allowing users to access both SIMs simultaneously, without having to reset the device.
The dual-SIM version will go on sale this month, while the single-SIM version won’t arrive until July.
No pricing has been announced as of yet.
Electronic Arts and Disney, multi-year agreement
Electronic Arts and Disney has announced a multi-year agreement, which under the agreement, EA will develop and publish new Star Wars titles for a core gaming audience that will span across consoles, PCs, tablets, mobile and more.
So this is really good news for Star Wars fans, as little over a month they made the decision to stop internal development at LucasArts.
So with this new multi-year agreement, We can now all look forward to future Star Wars Titles.
